Long story short
It was because of magic that Noah and Heather met each other in 2005. Noah was opening a show in Branson, MO and was looking for an assistant. Heather’s father saw the ad in the newspaper and Noah met with Heather and her parents. They hit it off and the rest as they say “was history”.
Shortly after meeting each other in Branson, Noah and Heather had an opportunity to take their show to Florida and perform in a 650 seat indoor theater at one of Panama City Beach’s top attractions, Gulf World Marine Park. It was here that Noah and Heather would spend the next eleven years growing and perfecting their show MAXIMUM MAGIC and operating their hugely successful magic and novelty store, Noah & Heather’s Magic Emporium. Their show quickly became a top Panama City Beach attraction in and of itself with thousands of new and repeat guests witnessing the show year after year.
In 2011, 2012, and 2017, Noah and Heather were honored with the prestigeous Merlin Award, Magic’s Highest Honor, from the International Magicians Society, the world’s largest magic organization. The Merlin Award is Magic’s equivalent to the Oscar, It’s the highest honor a magician can receive. It’s rare for a magician to receive this honor two years in a row, and when Noah and Heather received their first award in 2011, they made history as the youngest magicians in the USA to ever receive the Merlin Award. Their awards for “Illusionists of The Year” and “Entertainers of The Year” put Noah and Heather in the ranks of other Merlin Award recipients including David Copperfield, Penn & Teller, and Criss Angel.
In December of 2016, after eleven years of performing hundreds of shows a year in Panama City Beach, Noah and Heather resigned from Gulf World to begin a new chapter of their lives, a new show in a brand new intimate venue, and thus “The MAXIMUM MAGIC Dinner Show” was born. On December 28, 2016, Noah and Heather performed their first show in the new venue at Fudpuckers Restaurant located on beautiful Okaloosa Island, FL. Now in its second season, Noah and Heather’s MAXIMUM MAGIC Show can be seen weekly in the Okaloosa Island Theater (Fudpuckers Okaloosa Island Building). For the show schedule and tickets click here. In addition to performing regularly on Okaloosa Island, Noah and Heather also perform shows at the Holiday Inn Resort in Panama City Beach, FL, and will be celebrating their 8th season this year performing exclusively for the Holiday Inn Resort guests.
Noah’s grandparents, Billie Marie Dickerson and Richard Gordon Dickerson, were a huge influence on Noah at a young age. They instilled values and principles in Noah that made him who he is today. One of the things Noah’s grandma use to tell him was “the family that works together plays together.”
Billie and Richard owned Twin Cedars RV Resort just outside of Branson, MO and as Noah grew up spending his summers working at his grandparent’s resort, he learned first hand the responsibilities and rewards that came from working hard and putting in an honest day’s work. After the family spent all day working hard together, Billie and Richard would take Noah and all the grandkids into Branson in the evenings to watch shows, ride go-carts, and eat ice cream. These were some of Noah’s greatest memories, and he knew that one day he’d want to settle down, get married, and start a family of his own.
In March of 2015, Noah & Heather started their family by welcoming their daughter London Marie Wells into the world. London is the highlight of their lives and Noah and Heather feel truly blessed to have a family and be able to perform magic full time. For Noah and Heather it truly is like Billie use to say, and when you combine work and play, it’s the only “way” to live.
